Laura Jones is a fine artist based in Laurel, MS, with a BFA in Graphic Design from Mississippi State University. While her education is in design, Laura’s focus has always been painting and illustration. She began her artistic career in 2019 as a watercolor artist during an internship with Laurel Mercantile Co. Over the years, she’s developed her style from using watercolors to acrylic washes after an artist’s retreat in Greece in 2023. Her work has been featured at the Loyola Art Show, Laurel Mercantile Co., and on HGTV’s Home Town.
